Independence Day 2011

This is our last 4th of July here in Colorado and next year we'll celebrate with our family and friends back home in Springfield. This morning Jason requested homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast....

 Then at the request of Jason and our boys, I had to make homemade potato salad, a festive cake, and jello...

The boys were really surprised to see the color of the cake, Austin said it was "Epic". LOL!

 After our BBQ and once the sun had gone down the fireworks started up and the best part was that we didn't even have to leave our home to enjoy the view....
