Skate boarding and New Friends

Well, today I took the boys to a new skate park, which happens to be closer to home than the other one, and it just so happens I forgot to take the camera with me, sadly, I'm notorious for doing that. The boys had a great time and made a few new friends. Their new friends are Chase and Tyler, those little guys are good! I was really impressed with how well they handled their boards. I had a few laughs while watching Austin and Ian sit on their skate boards to go down the half-pipe and quarter-pipe. Austin and Ian were too afraid to try and skate down the half-pipe, but after being there for about an hour, Tyler was finally brave enough to try it, and he did it! It was so cute to see the look on his face after he realized what he was doing, lol.

Btw, Kennon didn't skate board because he was mad at me for making him go with us, lol.

Up Coming Changes

As many of you know, there will be a few changes that will occur for our family over the next few weeks. On January 28th, we will get the keys to our new home, needless to say, we're very excited! For the first time ever, the boys will each have their own rooms, and I'm curious to see how well McKennon and Ian adjust to sleeping in their rooms alone. McKennon and Ian are both looking forward to attending a new elementary school, and they will be picked up by the school bus, as opposed to walking or having me drive them to school.

These next two weeks will be my final two weeks for my daycare, though I've really enjoyed working with the children, it has become exhausting working an average of 12-14 hours a day. Which is why I feel my new job is such a blessing. I will enjoy being able to just work one week a month while still earning the same amount of income. Thank you, Lord!
