A weekend with my Niece and Nephew

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking care of my niece, Kayleigh, and my nephew, Camden. I had forgotten how much energy little ones have, so I was feeling exhausted Saturday morning, but luckily I had a burst of energy myself and the day ended better than it had begun. We had made a trip to the store to buy a inflatable swimming pool and water squirters. Then, after dinner we had gone to an ice-cream shop, and you know how little ones tend to be indecisive, so many flavors to choose from. And this morning they woke up to homemade doughnuts, and we had a picnic lunch outside inbetween playing in the pool.

Happy Father's Day, babe!

Thankfully, this will be the last year you'll be away from home during holidays. The boys and I miss you SO much, and we can't wait for you to come back home! As you can see, we've been counting down the days.
