Unexpected

Today was an eventful day, and come to find out someone whom I thought was one of my best friends actually really never was due to her actions, and unfortunately I'm just now finding out all of the things she had done to me behind my back. I'm so shocked, and I now realize she wasn't the person who I thought she was... sucks for her, she'll be the one missing out on a life-time friendship with me.

Valentine's Day

I happen to be one of those who loves Valentine's Day...I love doing special things to let my loved ones know just how much I love them. This year I surprised my hubby and sons with handmade valentine's day cards and little bags of goodies. My boys started their day with heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, and for dinner I made chicken pesto pasta with homemade noodles, jason's grandmother's recipe, homemade bread sticks, green beans, and salad, for dessert we had red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, yum! 

A pic of the Valentine's the boys had made for their classes...they insisted on valentines that wouldn't look girly. And poor Kennon had forgotten his valentines at home, so I had to run them up to his school.

Most of us have been guilty of this at one time or another in our lives, and I'm very grateful for those who have been in my life and I hope everyone is loved, happy, and healthy!

As most of you know I've been losing weight and as of today I've lost a little over 50 lbs. Woohoo!! And this is what I now look like, drum roll please....(lol)

Right before I took this picture I happened to accidentally cut my bangs too short, so if you're in need of a good laugh then here you go...
